Yes Fen! Here is your quote:

"The tent, illumined by a candle, glowed warmly in the midst of the white plain; and when he, as a matter of course, entered it, both Perrault and Francois bombarded him with curses and cooking utensils, till he recovered from his consternation and fled ignominiously into the outer cold."

Im pretty sure one or zero will know any of the books.

And i read slowly, and I'm 8 so I've only read 30 chapter books in my life

FM_Checkmate

Well, this is a chapter book that I read not too long ago.

Juny, you for the quote? I'm still confused.

FM_Checkmate

For a hint, here is the whole paragraph:

"That night Buck faced the great problem of sleeping. The tent, illumined by a candle, glowed warmly in the midst of the white plain; and when he, as a matter of course, entered it, both Perrault and Francois bombarded him with curses and cooking utensils, till he recovered from his consternation and fled ignominiously into the outer cold. A chill wind was blowing that nipped him sharply and bit with especial venom into his wounded shoulder. He lay down on the snow and attempted to sleep, but the frost soon drove him shivering to his feet. Miserable and disconsolate, he wandered about among the many tents, only to find that one place was as cold as another. Here and there savage dogs rushed upon him, but he bristled his neck-hair and snarled (for he was learning fast) and they let him go his way unmolested."

Just to let you know, you must give the book AND the author to get 1 point. .5 points for every question, you can get 2 points per round.

Pashak1989

Talking about Buck, Jack London's "Call of the wild" is a good one.

Iam2busy

So, who's next?

FM_Checkmate

Pashak, would you like to play? If yes, next time, PM your answer.

I will now have to redo the question. Sorry incorrect, but you must do another one, now that your point is gone...

OK, here's an easy one, to start with:

"Mr. Lambchop had always liked to take the boys out with him on Sunday afternoons, to a museum or rollerskating in the park, but it was difficult when they were crossing streets or moving about it crowds."

Remember, PM me your answers and leave the name and author of the book. You have 2 days MAX to give the answers. Good luck!

FM_Checkmate

OK! This one is VERY simple, because the first one (By the way, it was Call of the Wild by Jack London) had a bit a trouble with one player, simply because they are younger than the majority of the people here (I'm assuming).

incorrectname

i knew the other one but this one no clue

Pashak is a lot older then anyone else here, I think.

And it Would be simpler to just "first amswer" on this thread.
