Yeah, it was definitely better than the last movie but I wasn't blown away. They take way too many liberties with the movies now. I don't know, if you haven't read the book then I'm sure the movie will be a lot better for you. I was more than disappointed not to see Sirius' mother screaming at everyone who entered the house. Plus the chick who plays Hermoine needs a few more acting lessons and the guy who plays Dumbledor has a real problem with being commanding without yelling at everyone. The acting was far far worse in the last movie though. Which sucks because the 4th book is my favorite. I'm waiting next to my door for the UPS guy to drop off my copy of book 7. :D
Btw, they did a really good job with creating the Ministry of Magic for the screen. It's a little darker than I pictured from the book but it was still cool to see it.
, that have never touched the books. Huge chunks of the novel were taken out from the movie and I can't blame them due to the sheer size of the fifth book. However, after watching the movie, I didn't think the viewer would have the remotest clue of the significance of the "Order of the Phoenix". It certainly didn't help that the sequence of events came in chunks that viewers can scarcely follow. For an avid reader of the HP series, the movie certainly did justice to perhaps the weakest book of the series.
I just saw it today and it was bloody brilliant! I have had the 7th book pre-ordered for over a month already! Did anyone else go see the movie???
