She's being affected by the "Debris" pieces....shock.png  Tonight's episode just gets weirder & weirder. All the pieces that have been collected in the last 10 weeks we're taken to a large Government hanger to be cataloged & studied but now the're moving on their own...surprise.png  Meanwhile Finola's father who seems to know more about these things than the Gov, has set up his own lab in an old WW2 radar site---Voice of America. He says every piece emits a radio frequency like a puzzle. If he can find the one piece that is the map, he can probably put them all together again. "Orbital" is the C.I.A. and "Influx" is the "saposed" bad guys. The Russians....the Chinese, and the Brits are all saying that its the other guys who are trying to weaponize the debris pieces. Bryan is contiuing his hallucinations from last weeks' episode, and IDK who to believe.frustrated.png  Next monday is the season finale so I'm not quite sure if we're gonna put this puppy to bed or not.                                https://ew.com/tv/debris-jonathan-tucker-interview-season-1/

It seems that she was trying to protect the members & the site.  She had to leave.......too much pain.

Still one of my fav posts 🙏💛

Awww thank you Pam 🙏  Nice to know I haven't been forgotten. It certainly has changed here, that's for sure.

I'll never forget you Kohai  neither will thousands of others. Big mistake on Erik's part letting you go.

Everyone knew I had shoulder problems, then Piotr (live chess dev) told me he noticed a change in me that I couldn't see from the pain killers the doctor gave me. But the whole way I was let go, the reasons I was given for it... that hurt more than words can ever say.

Hey...surprise.png...good to see you sweetie.wink.png  I've been in self-mute mode to show solidarity to Jamie D......but for you I'll make an exception.tongue.png  I just found out recently where all the good people are hanging out.....in Pam's group. Even "sleeping beauty" is there--Laurie. happy.png

Hey Ronald, Lauren, Jamie and several others are in a group called "kohai lovers". Donna (blackfiresform) finally managed to get SA of the group as none of us could remember who started it years back. I tend to post in Notes on there when I'm in. I don't really want to get in with too many groups incase I get dragged into matches or vote chess (if that's even still played here now).

Jamie posted in there about her pending  time away from the site.

Talking of original members and years gone by,  it's still hard to believe the site turned 14 the day before yesterday. A huge amount has changed on here in that time, including some of the staff job titles I noticed earlier. I won't comment too much, but one job title of a member of staff on here really amused me. 😆😆😆😆

My formal complaint has now gone to Erik. I won't be ignored or fobbed off. Kohai ,I would be honoured if you would join Pam and Friends. We don't play matches just chill and have fun. I am very careful who I invite. No drama Queens, only good people I have known for years.

surprise.png.... I had no idea there was a club for Kohai lovers.  I'll have to get my application in then. happy.png

post 213.....  Yes, you're referring to batgirl.sad.png  It surprised a lot of us when she suspended her Staff status. Can't say I blame her. You can only put up with so much office politics B.S. David is gone also.sad.png Anything else I'm not really familiar with.

Batgirl had a bellyful of the morons and the backstabbers.

She did a lot of work to make the site better, and I don't think she got any Thank You's for it.

I agree Ron, she did! Her contribution to the success and promotion of Team Scotland was most appreciated by me and the other SAs. She also runs our Vote Chess and our recruitment.

this makes the incorrect assumption that, because you have contacted erik, your complaint/inquiry will not be ignored. he claims to not be involved in some things anymore. You know, like mutings, behavior of staff and mods, and pretty much anything having to do with the members.

Avatar of pam234

You may well be right but at least I'm trying to help a friend who has been muted unfairly. She is also an Admin of Team Scotland where I am a SA. I fight hard for my members and my Admins. Don't feel that I should be criticized for this. Do you not support your members or your Admin team?

Chess.com is Erik's business. All that matter's is the balance sheet

Avatar of pam234

I agree Jamie and a very successful business it is too. However if you continue to treat your customers badly they will start leaving in droves. There are plenty of other chess sites out there. Also members will choose to to stop paying for the premium accounts. That will not lead to a healthy balance sheet.
