But in all seriousness, it's been a while since I came here and actually said something. I guess at this rate, i'm just doing these to document myself over a few months, a glorfied diary if you will. My relevancy and all my former glory died in the KOTL days it seems, and at this point I don't mind it. I love this website, and I refuse to leave no matter how famous I am, was or will be, or how good at this game i'll become. I hope whoever is reading this a wonderful day, and a wonderful weekend/week. Now for some words of encouragement: Life isn't going to get easier, and if it does, it's not for long. It just wasn't designed to be easy. Nothing is. But don't let that put a halt in your resolve. Take advantage of it. Keep pushing. Do that thing you've been meaning to do for days, weeks even. Say hi to a friend, a family member, your partner or spouse. You matter, and don't let this Veteran Difficulty of a game we call Life discourage you from living it to its fullest.
And before I close this post off, I want to ask a simple question. Don't have to answer it, but I like knowing people see these posts. Makes me happy.
What piece of media/s (video games, books, shows, franchises, etc) has gotten you hooked lately?
For me, it's the Resident Evil and Silent Hill franchises. I just beat the Silent Hill 2 Remake recently, if you have a ps5 or a laptop with steam, I HIGHLY recommend it. Even if you haven't heard of Silent Hill before, or played the whole series minus this title, it's extremely good. I won't spoil anything as it's best going in while blind. As for Resident Evil, the series is GREAT so far. I've played from 2-5, and i'm on track to play the first game's remake, which so far from an outsider standpoint not only looks stunning but looks fun as hell.
