Some of my favourite bits of the old testament are a bit gruesome... Eglon killed on the toilet, elisha and the man eating bears... Its a blood fest :)

Apparently so did the Deuteronomy priest that made a ridiculous law that were a woman to defend her concubine in a fight and kicked the other in his groins her hands was to be cut the frick off.
Nothing of what Jesus expressed, turn other cheek type LOVE, the manly proper sensible action.

Very true.. Though the new testament has its moment. Stephen stoned, Peter swiped at the high priests servant with his sword and Jesus's last few hours were pretty violent. Am SO grateful He went through that for me though x
