How I discovered it? I was just on general chess discussion and as I scrolled down I saw something called off topic. When I first came to OTF I felt it wasn't for me, after all this was a chess site and I was here to play chess. So I ignored OTF for a few weeks, but slowly, I started going through the forums, and posting replies when I felt like it. Now I just can't get rid of this addiction.
I know what you mean - I went months without playing an actual person - I still played the bots but no living people. In the last week or so, I started playing REAL people again and I feel much more well-rounded.
