I took a break from chess but I am still here in the forums… chatting.
How do I delete forums?
B, however it really depends on whether you enjoy it or not. I suggest joining a actual chess club. Otb chess can be really fun, and it is very social.
Well I think a certain amount of tilt and slow recovery is fairly common ; as I experienced the same ; although not pleasant. I believe if you went elsewhere and played for a bit ; you'd quickly see ; as I did ; that much of your displeasure is valid and common ; and most definitely environmentally influenced. If you pm me I can tell you the place I went to experiment. I'm currently surpassing my current plateau here. 😊
B, you can just stop playing if you don’t want to, but a few days later, after you start to like chess again, you would regret it if you closed your account now.

A good attempt
Examine why you play chess? Don't start again until you identify the targets you have for yourself and why you have chosen them. If the targets are outside of yourself, quit. If the targets are inside of you, stay with it. Use these inner targets as your touchstones in any future dilemma.
