Wow. And I always thought we had everything in Singapore, like a regular frog in the well. No subway Italian cheese and herb, no potato bread, ... :-(

1km and Paya Lebar square are the 2 malls there. Near my place but seldom go there.

The one that got torn down was the Singapore post office building's mall. 1km is across the other mall, Tanjong Katong plaza or mall or shopping centre.

But its a disaster in ventilation and communicable diseases spread quickly owing to closely packed flats and blocks
Btw, I've checked. We don't get Italian herb & cheese at subway here - major disappointment for the younger one :-(
