Guys, if you're 12 and under, please head on over to https://www.chesskid.com, and even if you get parental consent to be on here, please don't use socials. It's not good for ya.
What's the difference? Just the lack of forums?

No, kids 12 and under shouldn't be on socials due to them still being young.

Yeah, much more childfriendly. Theres a reason CC made it
Girl don't say your age online... don't listen to them
Its not like anyone was asking for it either way.

Turned 69 last week.
Boomer!
How was WW1 like?
I'm more of a late bronze age type.
I don't know where he got the stupid idea you were alive for World War 1. You are a boomer. Baby Boomer generation is 1945 to 1960. If you turned 69 last week, that would be 1956.
I am Gen X, the last generation to have common sense from start to finish. First half of millenials have common sense. Since then, it's been totally lacking!
Gen X has the worst of it. We are the first generation to have both parents working during childhood, and when Gen Xers are in nursing homes, it will be Gen Z taking care of us (God help us all!)
As a Gen Z that was one week away from being a Gen X I can agree with you but at the same time if you are a Gen X why do you spend so much time arguing with 12 year olds?
You cannot be Gen Z and be 1 week away from Gen X.
Gen Z is 1997 to 2010
Gen X is 1961 to 1978
If you are amongst the oldest Gen Z, you are almost 2 decades younger than the youngest Gen X.
You clearly have forgotten about Gen Y (also known as Millenial), which is 1979 to 1996. And a 12 year old, which would mean late 2012 or 2013, would be Gen Alpha, and don't even start arguing about them. My wife teaches a whole bunch of freshmen born in 2011. The kids are lunatics, and not only when the moon is full. Today's middle and high school kids think school is a joke. They talk all through class. They are told to study because they have a test on Monday, and then Monday comes and "You didn't say we have a test - I didn't study, you can't make me take it, it's not fair!" When we were in middle school (late 80s) and high-school (early 90s), you sat in your assigned seat, you listened to the teacher, spoke when you were called upon, did your homework, and studied for your test. There were no re-dos of the test, and 47 was never the average test score. You might have one or two that got a 47 out of 30 students, but not as the mean or median grade.
There are very few 12 year old that can put up a legitimate argument. One here or one there, sure, but the vast majority of 12 year old that argue with a 50 year old, the 12 year old typically sounds like a complete clown making a fool out of themselves. Again, there are exceptions, but they are few and far between these days. Outside of maybe 1 in every 100 12-year-olds, today's 12-year-old would stand zero chance in surviving in a 1987 school environment! ZERO!
I agree but don't forget the fact that not all 12 year olds are dumb. 90 percent of kids that are 12 are dumb but 10 percent of 12 year olds are smart.
Why should I do that? Who in the right mind posts their birth certificate to random strangers?
Cool people.
