That whole area, Chicago Heights, Ford Heights, Matheson, Richton Park, Crestwood, Olympia Fields, sucks. Harvey, Markham, my God! Frankfort, Tinley Park, Orland Park are livable in the south suburbs. I  used to have to work there. Fortunately, I don't have to go there anymore. Have you driven down Halstead in Chicago Heights lately? I don't see a huge difference betwen that and Ford Heights. I'll stay in the northwest suburbs where the property taxes are high, but I don't have to worry about being strangled by my own genitalia.

Thank you for telling the truth--Halsted used to have a barbershop--Next to Courtesy Cleaners On Halsted and 12th ave.

There was an "Italian Man" Frank Marks, who taught me to play pool--he beat Mosconi and other greats.

That place used to have a beef place named Marvell's it was the best!

Glad to talk with you about that hell.

I have found while playing on this site and talking with alot of people here that Arrogance prevails and if you dont believe me follow this thread.

They will childishly attack-get off topic-and you know what--they dont care.

That IS the definition of arrogance.

Indifference to reality and let them get back to their ego--their main subject.

Watch the sharks, hawks, hyenas, cobras and other predators come.

Just watch.

I agree completely.

What is arrogance? What is ego? Whatever it is, a common way to raise own ego is by accidentally (sometimes unintentionally) lowering others ego. For example this words: "I'm the smartest!". Does it imply that: "Others are dumb!" May be not. It has nothing to do with whether the others are dumber or even smarter. But when you feel that "I'm smart!" is an attack to your intelligence. Indeed, it is an attack to your ego, an attack to your arrogance. In other words you might be the one who is arrogance. You alone, or both of you.

I'm not talking about YOU here. This is just a standard psychological analysis (At least I'm not talking about Justin Bieber :P).

Thank you for leaving the teen pony baby Bieber out of it.

I am a Psychologist and have found that Arrogance is a pathetic way to justify a self-centered value system, and I don't believe that when others observe this behaviour, that it makes them defensive. In fact I have seen that they are offended, as they should be when it comes from selfish, brutish know it alls.

I believe this is the definition of arrogance:

an attitude of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or in presumptuous claims or assumptions.

It seemed you had a little trouble defining this word; therefore I thought I'd help.
