its muscle memory where the keys are located..if u type often.. not speed, focus on positions of the keys, photographic memory, then speed will come

The stenotype WR is 360 by mark Kislingbury

My average (just normal typing) would be around 140 - 150.
My average (actually trying to type fast) would be around 150 - 190
My top speed (basically burst for a short amount of time) can range anywhere between 200 and 240.
