Well, here comes Hurricane Irene. Surprised It should be by me later tonight.

 

Barring any loss of electricity (and I fear I will lose power at some point Yell), I think I'll spend my time playing chess.  Smile  Chess is the perfect rainy day indoor activity. 

Anybody else in its path?

Yeah, it does seem like the female hurricanes are the worst.  Hmm...I'm not gonna say it.  Laughing  I remember Gloria in '85 did a lot of damage around here. 

So far, not much to report.  Some showers, some breezes.  Nothing scary.  Hope it stays that way!

Yes, it does seem that way, but Andrew, Gilbert and Allen, along with others, were pretty bad as well.
