He's probably going to start a podcast or something similar (as many former mainstream media hosts have).
It's doubtful Kimmel will return to ABC or any other large network anytime soon. Late night as whole has been getting less popular, and Jimmy Kimmel's viewership fell 43% from January. Furthermore, according to The Hill, "Industry observers...on both the political right and left offered differing rationales for why Kimmel was unlikely to return to the small screen any time soon.
But across the political and media worlds, there was a near-universal agreement that it was doubtful Kimmel will make a comeback after losing his desk in a sudden move on Wednesday night."

Although I am no US citizen I enjoy and watch Jimmy on YouTube, I will miss him and hope to see him back soon!
Ron, I think the non US Citizens , like the ones from India, are excused when not knowing him.

Jimmy Kimmel getting fired in disputed circumstances doesn't mean dictatorship.
When the dust settles, and the money gets divided up, I think Jimmy Kimmel will come back. Maybe not with CBS, maybe not with Disney. Please don't turn this into a political thread. If you repeat what Jimmy said,...I will block you. If you give me a 3 page explanation about free speech,....I will block you. Try to keep up. I just think in a few months, this decision won't stick. Give it a little time. Rich & powerful men are telling Jimmy he stands a chance at the Supreme Court. Many people are cancelling their subscription to CBS, & Disney. Remember,...his absence is "indefinite". If he was fired, Bob Igor would have said that.
