Being a person who loves history I'm a fan of documentaries. Besides watching a good show about events of the past I also like documentaries on a variety of subjects. Recently I bought a 4 DVD set of videos entitled: " Best Of British ". The first disc covers the 1940s thru the 1960s using a lot of newsreel footage, looks quite good.

Just had the chance to watch a National Geographic dvd entitled " Antarctic - Wildlife Adventure ". It involved a family that lives on the Falkland Islands who sail down to Antarctica in the summer to work with the wildlife, not a bad film.

One very good documentary that I want to mention is " Reader's Digest - The Road To World War II ". I remember seeing this 16 part series years ago on PBS ( then it was entitled " Between The Wars " ). It is a very well made series on the period from 1918 to 1941.

What we really need is a in-depth study as to why there are so many trolls on the internet ( & also why people keep getting injured while they are walking around and texting on cell-phones   lol ).

A truly great recent development on the internet is the YouTube site, there are lots and lots of interesting documentaries on history over there.
