Truly.... what are the point of ratings? Are you going to tell me that you look better a high rating, that being FIDE rated has any remote meaning to it when chess is still chess, a very fun game to play, win or lose? By that I mean, if loss, but gained from that loss any experience, slight win. Chess is to be enjoyable, not dwelling on a slumpered losing streak and sad loss of whateverthereason points. I deeply believe were there no points accrued and we just played chess, begginers, intermediate and advanced levels 1 through 3 the fun would heighten and chess again be the grand game that it is, based nothing on ego, but enjoyment. I would love playing 4 Player without any rating at all just it’s great time, also, I’m sure the cheaters would highly dissipate given no silly rating system.
