I just can’t read the music sheet, so I gotta jus memorize where to press the keys

Difficulty is a relative term that is also harmful to music culture. It's an easy song for a professional and a very difficult song for a newer player. One should feel accomplished by attempting and overcoming any challenge that is above their current level.

Difficulty isn’t a relative term

Just cuz a pro finds it easy, don’t mean that it is any easier than it is, the pro is just better

I am a professional musician and I speak from experience, though piano is not my main instrument. Things I can play currently would have been impossible for me 15 years ago. Many difficult things 15 years ago are now easy to learn in 15 minutes. I can still find things to learn that are difficult for me currently. It's all relative to your current skill level. As you get better at music, it's easier to learn. We may be in agreement and this is purely semantics

I am drawn to this topic because I can think of a plethora of music that is more "difficult" than Rush E. Take anything by Copin, just to start

That’s not how difficulty works
Peskybird1234
It stays at the same difficulty, you are just getting better

There is a difference

On Bear Saber for instance:
Hard difficult will always be hard, but since I am a pro at the game, and can bear levels on Expert+, I find the hard levels easy
They are still hard levels tho
