yes this quote is something every young person would immediately be drawn to. It's empathetic, considerate and loving. However it doesn't represent reality in any way whatsoever.

First off the world isn't nice and fluffy. When you get off this site's forums and go into into the real world you will quickly realise it's a harsh place. no one cares about you, no one has the time to. There are bad people, and always will be. expecting it to be any different is like expecting the universe to not be the way it is.

What bullying does is help show kids and teenagers about the reality of life, and how to deal with difficult situations. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, bullying is a healthy part of a childs upbringing. I was bullied as a kid, and many others were, and we become stronger from it, not weaker.

Plus from a more nuanced perspective, the quote itself is stupid, half the situations aren't even bullying, and it's just lazy. "The boy you tripped, he's getting abused at home". There's better examples.

But sure, keep flocking to this quote if it provides you with some sort of comfort that you're morally superior to others, and have some revolutionary insight on how to run society that other more intelligent people haven't thought of yet, lol.

Ironically the last sentence of the quote implies shaming which many people consider to be a form of bullying.

HeythereimAustin

I binge read the whole series, best month of my life (although it’s technically 2 series connected, I like to give Rick the satisfaction of knowing some of his fans pieced them together correctly)

Thalia-Grace

yeah I even read Trials of Apollo and I have the fifth book
