"If you see something, say something"...this was the official slogan of Lowes Distribution Warehouse; signs were posted everywhere. And what a cesspool of *Snitch-ery* that place was!! So many people telling on others for the least-little-thing...not just out of a sense of company snitching duty but also out of spite for infividuals who they simply didn't like for whatever reason. "If you see something, say something", indeed...get the hell out of here! @KirbieDerbieDoo2812-----if yiur "dear friends" are truly having probkems, then it is THEIR responsibility to Report whomever is bothering them, NOT the Chess.com community at large!!! :[]

its good to report but more importantly tell parents about herrasment.

As you've noted, reporting only results in new account creation. Perceived harassment can also be subjective.
It's best that minors joining the site know to
- Configure privacy settings
- report
- reduce their social activities to private and monitored clubs
- Ensure guardians are aware of their activities
But of course that never happens. This is true for any social site whatever its primary purpose.

I take many things seriously, especially anything that sounds like a threat. Text also does not show emotion easily; it is difficult to know that you were joking, and to be honest, I missed that you were.

I wish I didn’t have to, but I do report DAILY. I’m a teachers and minors getting bullied, especially by adults who SHOULD know better, makes my blood boil!
