Ok so, I was dubious of the lyrics, but THEY LOCKED IN OMG!!!
My interpretation is that Lust is based off woman who doesn't attach herself in relationships, but causes any people she's in a relationship with to fall deeply in love. This causes the person (in this case, the man) to become Pride, believeing they are special and worthy or value having made her fall for them, given her confident and sneaky nature. She's able to make the man look egotistical and uncaring because in a way, that's what he's become to an extent.
I might have overanalysed, but it seems to be a story based song, so I'll respond with an analysis.
