@WinterSoldier89, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Your concern is understandable. Sad to hear of the riots, but glad for the support expressed here for you. I grew up in a city with a lot of racial tensions and crime, which my family, friends, and I experienced. Just one example, my friend's friend was killed by someone of a different race. But the love of God has led me (and some family and friends) to forgive, let go of anger and fear, and build bridges across cultures and backgrounds. I'm still concerned for how my younger family members might experience potential tensions or discrimination. So you're not alone with these worries. I wish peace for you and your community.
