I remember watching this fight in 2nd or 3rd grade. That was the longest I had stayed up until that point. We all went to my grandparents house and my whole family showed up it was like thanksgiving but with even more people I also remember countless bets being placed. It’s not so much that we love watching boxing, it’s more so that we’re all Mexican and we enjoy watching Canelo make his country proud. Canelo winning that match and everyone cheering, celebrating, yelling, probably woke up the neighbors and might have caused an earthquake. Going to school after was crazy. It was all people talked about for about a week. I’m sure everyone else had a similar experience with their family. We were all the same, just a group of Hispanics having a good time, before anyone cared about what style you are if you were part of their “gang” or not. Back when it was just Canelo uniting all Mexicans and Hispanics as a whole. Thank you Canelo the king 👑 🇲🇽
