Is Hive the New Chess?

Anyone heard of Hive? I'm a chess player since I was a kid and started to play Hive around 7 years ago. I play very little chess since then and lots of Hive. I think it's a game that deserves attention and many chess players would enjoy it a lot as I do! Even if just as distraction from chess, or to discover new things outside there.

I've played Hive before, and it's really fun! If there's a large enough player base, possibilities of a competitive scene could arrive. If a website were to be constructed where you could play live, do puzzles, & everything the Chess.com scene does to allure players, you could boost Hive's popularity & earn tons. 🍯

There is quite a community already, tiny compared to chess of course but I'm trying to make it grow! (I also work for them organising events but I mainly love the game)
We had Hive World Championship since 2007!
