Is it a sin to be gay
To answer the question it depends on religion and I don't wanna get banned for talking Abt it so in my religion the answer is yes
May get religious but, a sin is something that separates from you and Him. How does LGBTQ do that?
LGBTQ is a sexual sin because your sexual life is not as god commands it to be, it is a sin, but for some reasons Christians treat it like it is worse than sins like sex before marriage, or infidelity, it is a serious sin because it is a sexual sin, which defiles our bodies, and our bodies are the temple of God, but it is not worse than the other sexual sins.
I don’t even know what to really say as I found this PDF from a church saying that it isn’t.

Sadly, many churches these days don't follow the bible, but biblically it is a sin, and as it says in Galatians If man or angel should come and preach to you an alternative gospel, let him be accursed. Stand to reason points out the reasons being gay is a sin, and the verses if you are interested.
I won’t say that they followed the bible but they said this:
"The short answer is no, it does not. The handful of passages in the Old and New Testaments that talk about Him condemning specific swexual acts have nothing whatsoever to do with swexual orientation and everything to do with contexts such as cultic prostitution or gang grape. To put it another way, using the Bible as a handbook on human swexuality makes as much sense in the 21st century as using it as a handbook on astronomy did in the 16th. The church got it wrong when it misused the Bible to condemn Galileo and it gets it wrong when it misuses the Bible to condemn LGBTQ+ people."
I obviously edited some words.
So there you have it, in that exact quote, they are spitting in the bible's face, that's not biblical. The bible says that the word of God is living and active, sharper than a two edged sword, it also says that God doesn't change, while that quote rejects both, so even though it is a "church" it doesn't follow the bible. Why is biblical teaching on homosexuality suddenly useless, but not on cheating on your wife, contradiction maybe? Or can I cheat on my wife?
