For people considering Satan as NOT invented, bound to some aeternal hell, and considered as bad, they say his best trick is to let know he doesn't exist.
Cheap reverse psychology, apologists for the Satan myth are bound to say that. And note the circularity of their stand too: "Satan is Evil. I sense Evil. Therefore Satan is real."
I strongly recommend the videos posted in 67 and 89, the historical record speaks for itself...
if not yet done, Nik. I mean it, when reading OP and u, we learn deeper than ever.
nice poem, you wrote it?

Ok, I've viewed the videos on pagan symbolism and the historical origins of Satan and I agree, both a real eye-opener. Particularly harrowing is the comment made by the US Military officer who led the siege on Fallujah in 2004: "Our enemy is Satan." Slightly surprised that particular piece of goofball idiocy was allowed into the public domain actually, but there you go.
Would like to see the Joseph Campbell piece too. All good stuff so far, many thanks.
The Power of Myth - Joseph Campbell talks to Bill Moyers. It was an 8 x 1 hr part series based on one of his books. I managed to find it on youtube but it is in like 54 clips. So, here is the start of the series. All the rest are there too on the page.......
