no.
Is Water wet? **(THE ANSWER IS YES!!!)**

I always use webster dictionary since it is more accurate than any other ones, and it appears that air can be wet, but we do not call it that, it is humid is what we say.

Water could give a wet sensation on the skin because its molecules always absorb the body's heat to maintain its bond with the skin. The heat that being absorbed is eventually being released in to the air.
The heat absorption cycle is continued over and over. Therefore it give a wet sensation on the skin.
I guess the water - skin bond is a dynamic bond.
water is in the air so is it wet
not if water is in a gaseous state as vapor. clouds are aerosol. ice, which is solid water, is 'wet' as there is a quasi liquid layer on it.
Water is not wet because wet is "moistened, covered, or soaked with water or some other liquid" according to the dictionary, and water cannot be "covered" with water because then the water would be absorbed and it wouldn't be wet. Thus, water is not wet.
HOW CAN IT GET SOMETHING WET IF IT'S NOT WET lol?

Water cannot be wet because then it would absorb what is making it wet and is thus no longer wet and was not ever wet
lol no cuz it was dry, then it was made wet. it would not absorb cuz the molecules in the water only stay in water unless it was paper cloth, or something that could absorb the wet.
but you have to cuz ur wet from the WaTeR!! fAcTs

If the water's adhesive forces are greater than it's cohesive forces then it definietly helps it to wet things better, but it is definitely not wet itself
but is air water
