Isn't this just sad?

So, there's this baby bird outside of my house, unwanted by its mother, just because it is sick.

I feel bad for the bird because it doesn't deserve to get thrown out of the nest, like the mother should take care of its own children.

#1 you sure the bird isn’t just fledging. It’s easy to misinterpret the situation with animals

its wings are not even fully developed yet. its been laying on the ground.

That’s so sad 😭

I guess it is sad, but from an evolutionary perspective, what it’s mother did was the right choice.

Avatar of quinquagintacentillionths

I guess that could be correct, but it's still just a newborn hatchling.

But it’s pretty much useless to the race as a whole. If it’s sick and can’t fulfil its purpose, it’ll get abandoned because it can’t be helped.

I’m not a pessimist. More of a guy who links things to other things.

And also, birds only raise their young because they are compelled to. If their young don’t fulfil the criteria, they are unfit to carry out their purpose, leaving the parents with no obligation to them.

It prob fell out. Its not sick its calling for it’s mother. Most birds wont kick their young ones out. A lot of young birds will accidentally fall out. Whatever you do dont touch it. If you do the mother may reject it due to foreign scent.

#13 the right thing to do is to call some sort of animal handling to r something to assess the situation and then take action for the bird
