JAKE PAUL VS TYRONE WOODLEY🥊

Oh yea and they have different types of jab and stuff...

Think you might've missed my edit, Champ.  Accidentally wrote straight as my fifth punch.  Amended to cross.

Our contention about two jab types stems from a local boxing trainer named Champ Chaney.  Third ranked heavyweight at the time Muhammad Ali first won the Heavyweight title, Champ Chaney trained three time Light Heavyweight Champion of the World Marvin Johnson.

I claim and still maintain Roy Jones Jr. is the greatest pound for pound fighter of all time.  I'd liken much of his primary style to Marvin Johnson.

Is the overhand really basic? seems pretty complicated.

Basic punch

Not entirely linear and used against an opponent who’s hurt more often than not so it’s not something a good trainer teaches off the bat
UnclePeet
A straight and a cross are different

A cross has to “cross” the opponents guard. This the nameZ
UnclePeet
There’s a lot more than 2 types of jabs monkey

They just don’t talk about it on TV

A good trainer will have knowledge of them all and show you them where applicable and dependent on your level
UnclePeet
If you’re a beginner, basic, tap and double is good enough to practice on a bag

A power jab or blast is good for later once you’ve learn to manage distance and timing

Have Jake Paul and Woodley already agreed to a match and is it contracted yet? Or is it still being talked about? Is it fighting or boxing? Those are different things.

UnclePeet
Boxing

Under a shady promotion it could be fixed for all we know nobody takes that promoter seriously

“Peet knows a lot about fighting. Look at that face.”

I mean if you can’t tell by my one ear that just maybe I’ve been hit a few times…..you probably never stepped foot in a gym

Paul's been doing very well for just a YouTube guy that wasn't a boxer.

UnclePeet
He’s a good athlete and he takes it seriously but he hasn’t really fought anyone yet

And he doesn’t need to…he’s doing just fine making $

If he fought real boxers he’d likely get paid peanuts he’s doing the right thing by making “freak show” fights because people want to see it

His brother was an outstanding wrestler. He qualified for the D1 individual and that’s no small feat most people would crap their pants before Ben stepping foot on the mat against those guys
UnclePeet
If he beats Woolley they’re going to put him against Tyson Fury little brother and that should be the end of this

Think it would be a 50/50 fight.

It goes over the guard... instead of through it unlike the straight... they teach you this later though...

UnclePeet
I can’t see it being 50/50 by any odds maker

You have a pro boxer who has 6 fights and zero losses going against someone who has never boxed against a boxer.

I think the oddsmakers will heavily favor fury.

It just looks so crazy to me, they always seem to time it so it goes over the top of an incoming jab, the timing is impressive.

ChampoftheBepoCamp

@dfgh123 hahah the tyrone guy is called "only has a good overhand right"... by some if you watch the mma websites lol

ChampoftheBepoCamp

"Takedowns only & a good overhand right hand"...
