I don't have one, I meant I've been considering picking one up for it. Probably a slightly older model off ebay as basically any gopro past the 7 I've heard is great and it would be much cheaper than buying the latest and greatest

I have a hero 11 and it’s been working great! It stops working in -20 temperatures, but that’s probably not a problem for you. 😂 I don’t suggest the ten which overheats really quickly.

Yeah, the hero 11 is the one I've been looking at, good balance between being pretty cheap compared to the 12 and the 13 while still being very high quality with all the important quality of life things.

Don’t get the twelve. It doesn’t have a gps system so it can’t tell you where its clips have been taken. The 13 is overpriced right now and if you wait a year or so it will come down.
