Just a thread about me

Hello. This is a thread I thought would be a good idea. We all sort of know each other, but most of you might not know my interests, so here they are:
I play the saxophone and the clarinet. I have a website (but it’s buggy), I consistently think about the nature of humans.
I really enjoy trying simple maths. Stuff like the Collatz conjecture is easily understandable and workable on, and therefore something I can actually do.
I play a lot of video games, right now I’m playing risk of rain 2 and Minecraft. And whenever I’m bored some clash royale. I also have 2-3 almost maxed out cookie clicker accounts.
I also read/listen to books. Right now I’m reading 1984 and I’m listening to sci fi and LitRPG books (books with rpg elements).

Hello. I think Minecraft is actually a good topic about the nature of humans. I got very addicted to Minecraft, and I thought about Minecraft all day. After quitting Minecraft, I inmediately reached rapid 1500, and look at my chess rating now. It is interesting and sad how video game companies use the nature of humans.

Minecraft is a sandbox and doesn’t use human nature to that degree.
Meanwhile, mobile games slow progression so you have to pay

I think it does. Given its sandbox nature, people escape from the real world, because it's easier to play Minecraft. You can do anything there. You won't get punished physically, and there are no physical consequences.

Well you could say that about anything on a computer. YouTube, any video game, any streaming platform, any website, they all want you to be stuck in the dream world. Putting all the blame on Minecraft which isn’t even very addictive in its base state is a bit off the mark

Minecraft is the only thing that got me this addicted. I'm just sharing my experiences. Don't attack me, please.

Sorry if you thought I was attacking you. I wasn’t. I’m just saying, Minecraft isn’t very addictive compared to other things in my experience.

Nice! My friend in High School played the saxophone. He used to joke about maybe playing The Tonight Show one day. If you like video games, perhaps give 7 Days to Die Beta a try.
