Should I get the top of the line or a cheapy?
just CURIOUS...what pleasure does....
Its a new one on me too. I thought maybe its a trick from Erik
V3 will ONLY work on Surface 3; V4 will ONLY work on Surface 4; etc.
Should I get the top of the line or a cheapy?
what is going to be your primary use for it?
Can anyone provide any info on member; Taarhlia? BE WEARRY of said member. She wants to speak to me, but can't do it on THIS site. ITS A SCAM. On-topic with the OP's thread, Loves_Me_Impossible had a male avatar last week. Now he has a female avatar. He was in the, "Beware of Stalkers" thread.
Doesn't anyone else think it's odd that we dislike male/female stereotyping but actively encourage it & then get offended by statements based on gender stereotyping?
And SB....I have to ask....if your 10 year old twins would be traumatised by an image of a woman mutilated by plastic surgery, how do they cope with your original question? And I'm not being antagonistic before anyone starts building a bonfire.
marco,
I remember sitting next to a guy on an airplane...his hands were so dry that the skin cracked and you can see blood. A flight attendant handed him a bottle of lotion out of concern...he opened the cap and sniffed it...handed it back to her and said thanks, but no thanks....but I'm not going to "perfume my hands" ...or something to that effect...
LOL
Well, Pulp,...I don't know about Spaniards...
but my German and French friends not just cooked, but "cuisined" for their girlfriends or wives, writes poetry, prefer wine over beer, listens to classical music, don't mind putting perfumy lotions of their skin...a whole bunch of other "effeminate" stuff....
I'm gonna get clobbered for making generalizations again! lol

little lady had changed her avatar to one of her on top of a man F**king. Ita was pornographic content that is meant for an x rated site, not as an avatar in this one. They were naked and you can fill in the blanks. My kids dont even know about the birds and the bees yet. That kind of graphic images is not called for.
that's unfortunate. and worse, I don't think there's anyway for chess.com to monitor all of that. perhaps, chess.com could set up a "delete this pic/post" button...if 9 out of 10 who clicked on a post also clicked "please delete this" it automatically deletes...it'll save them alot of time.
@Feu: Well, it depends on what do you consider "effeminate". I think is a hollow word. About generalizations, one example: we are teached by the movies Americans think drinking wine is "cool". Is that true? But I can't imagine a meal without it. And it's objetively better than beer! (I love both, btw).
i've seen some inappropriate avatars/profile pics.
chess.com clearly does not have an effective way to monitor what pics that users choose for their avatars. eventually these offending users get banned but not until their profiles are called to attention somehow.
I will tell you how to monitor it , its simple. Have someone scanning new accounts on a regular basis and flag suspicious ones. you know, the ones that use porn stars as avatars start there. ther are a lot of them. all you need to do is google the image and the crap comes right up. Its not hard to keep it clean in here.
I don't know what movies you're watching, Pulp...
But if you're going to the bars with a bunch of your buds, everybody's pretty much ordering beer, whisky or some other hard liquor..
I had my French buddy ask for wine and the waiter brought it in the wrong glass...and he had the waiter bring it back and put it in the right glass.
You don't do that kind of thing here - when you're with your male buddies..
As for drinking wine? In some circles (the cultivated city-dwellers) it's ok...
In some other circles you'd be seen as being phony and pretentious...and maybe gay - lol

That's I was referring to. But here drinking wine is nothing special, just as drinking beer. And you can be sure you can find some hard liquors here:

This is what I use to add to the coffee.
Say a prayer for me...
