Well, if you start running from a dog, it will run with you thinking you are playing with it. They aren't ill-intentioned.

Cats bite you for no reason at all
Happens to me almost everyday
They don’t they will just jump around and you’ll maybe get scratched
Unless it’s like a big dog that’s been abused and neglected for many years and you look similar to the dogs abused then they might bite you
