this got crazy
What did you expect?
En passant is definitely not cheating. If anything is cheating, it’s moving your pawn 2 spaces and evading capture!
Interesting...apparently there are times when you can do en passant on a pawn that moved up two spaces. It has happened to me before when I have played against people. I move a pawn up two spaces and then someone does en passant to capture it
Obviously it’s a legal tactic but if it wasn’t that would be unfair
Tactics are tactics...
It is not a tactic anymore than you would call a bishop capturing a knight a tactic.
It is a simple pawn capture according to the rules of chess. (Since the 15th Century when the En passant rule was added).

Soo, I think we can finally conclude that on peasant is indeed cheating, and if it isn't, it is definitely unsporting.

Unsporting? CHeating? En passant has been around since 15th century, so I wouldn't say it is a new and illegal or unsporting move

Yes, unfortunately cheating was born at the same time as humankind.

Which is why early chess players created the en passant move, which is deemed a legal move to use under certain circumstances.
Chesssens, it happens often in the situation you speak about, but the question of its validity seldom comes up, and if it does, the matter is probably decided outside the room, as they like it to be quiet there.
Hmmm...very interesting
