But as a master Student of comparetative religious science I can say THIS: many comparetative Religious Scientists (e.g. Rudolph Otto , Andreas Feldkeller and Rainer Neu , Just to Name a few) Claim that every Hobby / Lifestyle etc that someone has could be Said to be Religion as you "believe" in IT and IT Has Other Markers of Religion too. Also you could make everything a political issue. So by that logic WE would have to Lock every Thread on Here
LGBTQ+ issues are both religious and political, and thus threads on them should be locked

That seems just a way to stop positive lgbtq+ threads and is therefore discriminatory.
It would be perfectly.possible to have a positive lgbtq+ thread without religion or politics if anti-lgbtq+ didn't post hate and bigotry derived from their religion on them.
If you ban all threads because trolls can make them religious or political you'd have to ban everything.

I don't See where they are discriminating against anyone . All they do is correctly state that These topics tend to become deeply Religious/ political without judging them

But they don't have to and only do so because of bad actors.
For example, if six people belueved chess was a sin and posted religious comments on every chess thread then should chess threads be banned?
Rather than just banning legitimate forums, ban the bad actors.

Soo in your book ...they mustnt Express their ( non hatefull ) opinion because "they don't have to" ( =because U don't Like IT) THIS is cencorship of freedom of speech ( again If IT were hurtfull I agreed with U)

But Like I ( straight) Said ... everything could be claimed Religious / political soo best Close all the Forums

{Topic locked, going against community policies https://www.chess.com/legal/community - DB]
If you would like to discuss these topics, join the appropriate club.
I know this will likely get locked, but mods please understand.
The issue of the morality of LGBTQ+ is heavily religious, so it qualifies as a religious conversation. Generally, moral debates on anything should be locked in off-topic forums unless they are a joke.
The current social issues of LGBTQ+ are also religious and political. Pride marches are political and religious.
Many discussions on LGBTQ+ issues can become very heated and not very friendly.
Regardless of the morality of LGBTQ+ (I am agnostic on the issue), I think that both positive and negative threads on it should be locked due to its political and religious relevance.
