What's the purpose? Of being kind or mapping one's mind?
To be kind well it's just who I am. We naturally love. It's not to gain anything.
Of mapping my mind. Well to be healthy. I was chronically nervous.
I found though when I looked within that the idea we are told about who we are is false.
There is no I.

Of course,there is. It is a fact, despite hearing nice theories. Always start from the fact.
And 'naturally ' we are animals. Despite certain instincts, that is not compassion. Don't invent something which isn't there. It might be, at some point, but humans aren't born with it--the program is active and unless it is deactivated, compassion is not.

The 'soul' is a 'higher' vibrational form of 'matter' .. Commonly referred to as 'energy' - And, similar to 'electricity'.. It's commonly thought, {ie. 'electricity'}.. to be neither able, to be 'created' or 'destroyed'.. Which so far as I, or most anyone knows; Is an aspect, of being 'eternal.'

Everyone, that I'm aware of, {that claims to have had, an 'obe' or 'out-of-body-experience'}.. reports, that their 'sight'..{whilst 'out-of-body'}.. if anything, surpasses what they could 'see' while 'in-their-body'.. Including, some testimonies, of '360 degree' vision.
Of course.. If people 'projecting' something, is a cornerstone of ones 'world view'.. Then, that is of considerably Less consequence! - Ya have to Experience an 'obe'..{as I have}, to be able to attest to that! .. And, No.. It's Not, merely, my fault-prone opinion/ observation.. Nor, of others, who've had an 'obe'.

I wasn't expecting an answer, since there is nothing to say. A mind that is not quiet cannot help projecting.
So the point is not debating whether a so-called soul is a projection or not, but rather whether the mind can't help but project things, that is whether or not the mind is quiet.
The question becomes: how is the mind to become quiet? Otherwise, any fantasy that gives comfort to the mind becomes reality.
