This is not Russia with love. This is a spy thriller from the 60's 70's where near the end of the movies the villian has the hero in his lair with his plot about to suceed and he challenges hero to a chess game with lifesize pieces controlled with voice activated hand held controllers. A gunfight begins, the hero gets both controllers and moves both pieces until the villian is trapped and crushed.

He then gets into a speedboat to foil the evil plan.

I have searched long and asked many for help.

I got lent an old film which had chess in it, but I can't remember the name. I remember something like an old man was playing his grandson in chess, and he had to leave for some reason before the game was over and he left the board set up about half way through the middle game. And after so many years went to see him again, then he said " who's move is it on the chess board, remember you moved that Knight back in 1974".

That's a pretty vague description! Was it perhaps

We have a WINNER!!

Thanx to  artfizz who gave "Deadlier Than The Male." I did not see all the skin in the movie -- all I could remember was the chess scene.

THANX AGAIN

Here's a music video I made that's ALL about chess (and peace in Ukraine).
