Making OTF great again: A call for the deportation of all spammers.

wait, were those the right links?
As the official president of OTF, I have watched over these forums for the last 8 months, and it’s clear that somebody has to step in to return OTF to its former glory.
Lol. The forums have been filled with mindless spam and childish threads for years. When did the forums experience this ‘glory’ you speak of? The fact is, almost all of the children who dominate the forums will not join your club. When the club is inactive from the lack of members, they will all return to the forums (presuming they were even going to only be active in your club…). The only viable solution to clear spam from Chess.com is to enforce an age requirement to use the forums and to lift the ban on politics and religion. But the staff will never do this. They have to ‘keep the children safe’—despite ChessKid existing.
If you want a place to discuss meaningful topics here on Chess.com, your only hope is to join a debate club such as Open Ideas and Open Discussion.

Good to hear that you took this seriously. The club isn't mine, and I didn't plan to enforce anything to do anything that I posted.
Cute that you thought so, though.
DO YOU SEE WHAT THIS MEANS? FEW WILL EVEN STAY! WHY SHOULD ONE PERSON DECIDE TO KILL HALF OF OTF BECAUSE THEY THINK THEIR QUALITY CONTENT IS NOT STANDARD, BASIX THIS IS CALLING FOR WAR
Quality over quantity?
YOU CANNOT DO THIS, A WORLD WITHOUT OTF IS A WORLD NOT WORTH LIVING! DO YOU KNOW THAT PEOPLE HAVE PURPOSE AND AMBITION TO DO THIS, THIS IS DISCRIMINATION AND DESTRUCTION OF A COMMUNITY, DO NTO DO THIS, I WILL START A FREEDOM FORCE TO STOP THIS TYRANNICAL MOTION
now I see why 8non hates you

I did take it seriously despite the fact that it was obviously a joke. Because I am tired of threads like this. Complaining about spam threads…while making yet another spam thread.
Most meaningful topics are banned from the main forums, limiting their discussion to small clubs. Essentially destroying the entire point of having an off topic section to the forums. If people do not want to see the hatred in some discussions about politics/religion…then simply do not visit those threads.
This is a problem that needs a solution. You cannot solve a problem without serious discussion. Something the forums need more of.
