'The battle for Ronaldo may finally be over after Sir Alex Ferguson and the Real Madrid president both indicated that he is staying where he is.'
Is his future still unclear?
Of course, they should sign me :)

The United squad is very strong, and new young players are developing so I don't think United needs many changes as long as SAF is the manager ;)
Recently Ronaldo's future has become clearer as Real Madrid have said that they will not be making anymore signings this summer after there £15m transfer of Rafiel van der Vaart. This would lead us to believe that his future (certainly short-term) is in Manchester. I hope so anyway!
its going to be a hard start for united i think, but their class will keep the up the top as usual and with Sir Alex in charge i can not see anybody else winning the league
berbatov ... hes good ... i dont really think they need any new players at the moment ... they have a great squad with the young players doing well ...
BRING ON THE TREBLE THIS YEAR :)
berbatov is coming in proably because they delayed the team photo a day so they could have berbatov in it!
yeah, well they definately need to get a striker and berbatov is a good choice... i was rather hoping they wld sign davif villa though
yeah lol ... villa is wicked player ...
torress is good ...
but my fav
is
CRISTIANO RONALDO cos he is wicked player etc
I'm glad that Berbatov is probably coming but I would, ideally like to get rid of injury-prone Louis Saha for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who has a buy-out clause in his contract for £20m which is worth it!
yeah exactly ... and i dont think he is that good tbh...
oh ... i reallly not likin john o shea ... i think he shld go aswell ...
O'Shea is fine if the ball comes to him, his problem is that he's slow, very slow. But if he does manage to get in the vicinity of the ball, he'll probably stop it.
As for Saha, he's obviously not to the level of Tevez or Rooney, but he's a decent rotation man who can come in against the weaker opponents and give one of the bigger names a rest. He's not all that creative (not at all, really), but he has a decent shot if someone can get him the ball with some space.
yeah i suppose...
ok, so here is the latest ... (from the papers)
Tottenham would rather sell berbatov 2 barcelona for a cut price than sell 2 manchester united!!!
Also, over 48 hours ago, Sir Alex said ' we will reveal our new player within the next 48 hours' ... the time has come and nothing yet...
Well I'm a fan of west ham, so I can't really say much but I think if unikted could get a younger defence in a few, when ronaldo, rooney and tevez are in their peak overalls then united will win quite alot, they might even go for the quad
:(
So far Manchester United have not made any new signings (except the free transfer of Daniel Petruci from Roma). With numerous players such as Jonny Evans on loan to other teams and Gerard Piqué sold to Barcelona have Manchester United done enough to strengthen their squad for the defence of their England and European trophies? Especially with Carlos Quiros' exit and Cristiano Ronaldo's future unclear. Who should United sign in order to successfully defend their titles?
