Corps Hymn.

In 1981 my unit was going thru a jungle survival couse in the Phillipines, we met a military unit from Australia

we had a great time together.The sad part was that Australian unit died in plane crash on the way home .

Those guys really rocked!!

Sgtmaro, that is amazing!

I don't think that there is an Australian equivalent as such to the US Marine Corp - i.e a specialised water combat and operations unit [ as distinct from the Navy]. Probably of all things the nearest thing that Australia would have to the Marine Corp would be either SAS [although they tend to do more land-based things] or maybe the SOG [Special Operations Group] who are specialised police who operate with military equipment and training, for things like hostage scenes including water -based scenarios.
