I'm 42. I had to watch the Marvel movies they were making in the 80's. I've had to wait for three decades for this. Trust me, it worths the waiting.
Heh yes :) And it's funny that loads of people that never knew marvel comics now are wathing Avengers, of all groups.
Was so surprised the first Avengers were that good, this particular superhero group always bored me because the Avengers guys are very one-dimensional classic heroes, on the verge of beonmg outright boring, and the stories much the same. But it's the best superhero movie i saw so far, better than the X-Men which IMO was far superior as a comic.
Well it'll probably have bad words or scenes in there. We watched the first one as a family and had to turn it off with 3 minutes left because of all the cursing. I'll still go on pluggedin.com to see if the content got any better, but I can wait 'till I'm a grown-up . For now I content myself with reading the spoilers for the shows & movies that look interesting.
The only show I was allowed to watch all the way through was Terra Nova and a 24 season.
are you serious? you look 15.
im 15 and watch a bunch of R movies, not the R movies with sex ,just language and violence
Well, I'm Christian in a Christian family, and plus, they decide what I watch and what I don't and if the R rated movie had language in it it was probably pretty bad. My parents have a big problem with language. In fact, the reason we stopped watching The Avengers (when we watched it as a family) was solely because of incessant and unnecessary language towards the end.
Of course "when I grow up" I'll watch all those movies and shows out of spite ;)
Also, according to the new PluggedIn review for the movie it doesn't look like I'll even get a shot at watching it, the reviewer saying two dating superheroes "talk about consummating their relationship," "God's name is abused once or twice," and "the sporadic foul language and sexual innuendo [are extremely] frustrating for me, as a fan, as a dad and as a Plugged In movie reviewer. We're barely a minute into the frantic fun when Stark, mid-battle, spews out an s-word."
