Metrosexual phenom, Cory Elo, cheater badge

Please pass the hankies.  "CoralElo," affectionately known to his fellow metrosexals as "Cory," is banned from the site with a cheater badge.  I hope he was impeccably dressed at the time.  Who woulda thunk it?

He made it to a rating of 2277 in Live-Standard, in 5 near-perfect games, before tanking a game to Computer1-EASY in 13 moves!  I analysed those five rapid wins and included them in my report.

He beat a titled GrandMaster in Bullet and got to 2269.  Well, his computer did, at least.

In Blitz, his rating peaked at 2423 in 9 days!!

His cheating was so very obvious, it is surprising he lasted this long.

The funny thing was  - he had defenders!  Admittedly, the defenders too occupy the bilges of the site, like Cory, but some of the gullible took their comments seriously.

Kudos go to a real chess master, NM Reb, who spotted the problem right off the bat.

Let us know when you are back, Cory.  We hardly knew you!

EDIT - "Cory" is not a member.  He was never real.  I can not name and shame a ficticious entity who is not a member.

Clearly you have no life, trudging through the nonsense of kids. And did I read it correctly, you wrote a report? Clearly you are spending the best years of your life wisely. 

Engine use on this site is called "cheating."  Cheating is always worth reporting.  It is the ethical thing to do.

Frankly, I don't think "Cory" really existed.  The entire life story was a fantasy and fabrication.

Maybe I am too jaded, but I have watched a cabal of young Indian scammers in the site steal legitimate players' identities, use phony accounts to manipulate ratings, inflate ratings by playing 2-4 moves games, etc.

"Cory" was a sockpuppet for the troll puppeteer to test out cheating techniques.
