My brothers always just use wool and colour the wool, that way you get a coloured path! :)
Good idea! I just got a Minecraft clone (MineTest) because my PC isn't connected to the internet. (The Mac and my mom's PC does though.) It's consistently laggy but it works. Also there are no creepers or zombies :(
My sister has a world going. I made her a simple house (just stone walls with torches on em) and how do you make a roof? Also in the mode we're in (minimal, which is less laggy) doesn't have a door, how do we make one?

You can make that with stairs if you want it pointy and if you want an example you can look at the houses the villagers build! :)
