Stop crying
Mods, do they have too much power?
We've had cases of mod imposters. Everytime you throw the handcuffs on them, they change their IP address.
In 1984 we tracked a mod across the Antartic for 3 months. Boy, what a bloody battle that was. We lost a lot of good members on THAT mission. There we were. 2 against 100. 1st we surrounded them. Then they surrounded us. But we won. They we're the toughest 2 we ever faught. Then there was the infamous Scotland Yard case. A mod posing as a member who was posing as a mod. A triple agent
None of us had a Security Clearance at that time. He was getting his intel by carier pidgen. Its still a cold case to THIS day. Now all these pretty boys come in with their DNA, and their retinal scan, GPS, and transponders. We didn't have those fancy gadgets when I was chasing mods. No sir-rey bob! We caught a mod once on the island of Kum-ba-ya. She had a dilithium chamber that was TO DIE for. But sadly it wasn't meant to be. We were, 2 ships passing in the night. There once was a mod from Nantucket. Who lived her entire life in a bucket. They thought she was blind, because she was allways so kind, until finally one day, she just said OH
.....
They not only have too much power, they abuse it too. On Saturday I was muted by a mod named CyberSensei during the Naka challenge for supposedly complaining about a computer user who beat Hikaru. I NEVER SAID A WORD ABOUT IT. When I private chatted CyberSensei he denied wrong doing and said there was nothing he could do. USELESS and IRRESPONSIBLE.
Then last night I was kicked for calling a VERY UNPOPULAR user who flagged me in a drawn position an idiot.
The modding is heavy handed and indiscriminate, and if this continues players will begin leaving en masse for other sites. It's just not worth the aggravation, I know MANY others including titled players feel the same way.
I was abused by a moderator named Schmilzo after he was about to be mated in one move. I am going to cancel my account with chess.com asap and never come back here.
Why would I resign when I was going to win in one move and why was I kicked out from Live chess? Pls explain that.
See if THIS works. Like a good neighbor, STATE FARM is there!
OMG!
IT WORKED TA-DA!
Schmilzo
I got news for you. That's No guy, but I can understand how you would confuse him with staff
That IS the required dress uniform for any admin on duty.
If it pleases the court, I would like to treat Staff Officer Schmilzo as a hostile witness. "You may". Good, now, on the day in question, approximately 2 weeks ago, where were you stationed? "At an undisclosed location" I see, I remember the day EXPLICITLY. It was a Thurs, it was raining. And did you have anything to drink on that day? "Its possible, I don't remember". You don't remember being drunk when you disciplined my client? "I just do my job". And how much does Mr Eric pay you to do your job? "I would have to take the 5th amendment on that question" We'll get back to that in a minute. You previously testafied that Eric gave orders NOT to discipline the OP. So since you and your team always do what Eric says, WHY was the're 2 sets of orders?
May I remind you that your under oath. Would you want me to have the court read back your responce? "I KNOW WHAT I SAID!
Look, have you ever moderated live chess RJC? "No sir". Have you ever policed a thread for hrs on end, with NO COFFEE, for obcenities, bad behaviour, NAME CALLING, and other Un-American activities"? I'm not on trial here mod # 345621. "THE OP SAID THAT HIS OPPONENT WAS A DICK!, AND I KNOW A DICK WHEN I SEE ONE"!
Would you say,
that I'm a dick? "RIGHT NOW? YES! WHAT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW NOW RJC, WHAT'S MY FAVORITE THREAD? Well if the OP was a female, she wouldn't have a dick now would she? STRIKE that statement from the court record.Did you or did you not discipline the OP?
"YOUR DAM RIGHT I ORDERED THE PUNISHMENT! I guess he picked the WRONG GARL DARN THREAD TO BREAK INTO!
AND YOU MESSED WITH THE WRONG GARL DARN MOD! I'M GONNA RIP OFF YOUR HEAD AND PUKE IN YOUR SKULL!
I have no furthur questions for this staff member at this time your honor. I do reserve the right to re-call this mod if furthur evidence arrises at a later date.
Mods. They are so powerful that they have their own squad:

The Mod Squad.
Just recently, I was completely kicked from Live Chess by a mod, I did not catch whose name it was, but I feel it must have been someone who is generally inactive on chess.com, as they immediately resorted to kicking me off of Live chess, and now I'm stuck here, waiting to regain access so I can watch my favorite players play their blitz and bullet games and whatnot.
I have looked into any other instances of possible abuse from mods and have found that there allegedly is a form of criteria in which they dish out punishments, but I cannot help but feel that the mod that kicked me, at the very least, was not following said criteria, as the worst word in the single sentence I had said during my spectating of the match was "d1ck".
I am hopeful that something will be done about this, or at the very least, the mod who presented my punishment to me show up with a legitimate reason as to why he or she would go so far as to kick someone without the simplest understanding of the context of the conversation beforehand.
