So to get this out of the way, Gol is an elf, so shes lived for a very long time.
This starts back in a village she lived in just over a thousand years ago. Her village was attacked by the cult known now as "The Thousand Year Dead" since.. well theyve been dead for a thousand years.
Anyway, Gols village was attacked by them, and she was the only survivor. Because this she really wants to protect people she cares about, and therefore got the light magic (it has a healing spell and a defensive spell.) she also now has a sword which contains a well of "Dark Mana" (a more powerful and condensed version of regular mana, depicted as a dark mist. its different from normal mana in a few other ways, but thats the main way.) Also because her past she has trained herself to seem like she doesnt care about people, so people dont like her, and then she doesnt like people. since, she doesnt feel as much grief when someone she has no knowledge about dies. so she seems cold so she doesnt care about people, and doesnt get mentally hurt whenever someone dies.
too bad for her, she starts to care about indigo during the story, and then indigo ####ing dies and his dark mana inside him is used to open a portal, but thats a whole different thing
