HOW DARE YOU HIDE THIS FROM ME CHESS

Kul and biv will be useless, since Gol can create a shield. Idorel can shoot an arrow at her, but she might be able to deflect it. And even if it does hit, it has to be a fatal hit, or else she can heal. The good part about being Idorel is that he’s far range. If the fight would be close range, gol would dedenitly win. But what if Ginger mesmerized her? Would the Mesmer pass through the shield? Idk yet. I’m def picking either Idorel of Ginger.

Main Title: The Chained King of Oblivion

Eldritch horror Name: Aza'rath, the Forsaken

Human name: Ezekiel Vayne

Titles:

* The Chained King of Oblivion
* The Forsaken
* Prince of Ruin
* The Unloved
* Scion of the Void
* Eater of Light

Gender: Male

Race: Eldritch Horror God (formerly celestial)

Background:

Aza'rath was once a prince of the celestial realms, a being of light and beauty, revered and loved by all. However, his insatiable curiosity and ambition led him to delve into forbidden knowledge of the Void, the infinite abyss that lies beyond reality. The Void corrupted him, twisting his noble heart and mind, and he fell from grace, cast out of the heavens for his transgressions.

His descent shattered his physical form, transforming him into an Eldritch Horror God, a being of immense power and terrifying presence. He became a scion of the Void, anathema to all that is good and pure. Despite his transformation, fragments of his former self remained, causing him immense torment and fueling his hatred for the celestial realm that had forsaken him.

Aza'rath found himself in the Forgotten Realms, a land ripe for corruption. He sought to conquer and reshape it in his image. He amassed a following of dark creatures and twisted mortals, and for a time, he ruled as a feared and respected monarch. Yet, his connection to the Void made him unpredictable and cruel, and his reign was marked by terror and despair.

As time wore on, the people of the Forgotten Realms grew weary of his tyranny. They fought back, and with the help of powerful heroes and divine intervention, Aza'rath was defeated and chained within a hidden dimension, a prison between realities.

Now, Aza'rath, the Chained King of Oblivion, is a forgotten god, forsaken and unloved by all. His name is whispered in hushed tones, a cautionary tale of ambition and the corrupting influence of the Void. Though his physical form is bound, his influence still seeps into the Forgotten Realms, manifesting as nightmares, madness, and inexplicable horrors. He waits, plotting his return, dreaming of the day he will break his chains and unleash his full, terrifying power upon the world that has forgotten him. He believes that one day he will consume the Forgotten Realms and drag it into the infinite abyss.

Appearance Among Mortals

* Humanoid Form: He typically appears as a tall, handsome man with striking features. His eyes are often described as being an unusual color, such as violet or silver, and seem to hold ancient knowledge.
* Attire: He dresses in elegant and understated clothing, often favoring dark colors such as deep blues and purples. His garments are of high quality but not ostentatious, conveying an air of sophistication and power.
* Subtle Unsettling Features: Despite his charming appearance, there are subtle hints of his true nature. His smile might be just a bit too wide, his eyes might flicker with an unnatural light, or his movements might be slightly too fluid and graceful.
* Aura of Charisma: He exudes an aura of charisma that draws people to him. Mortals find themselves inexplicably drawn to his presence, eager to please him and follow his lead.
* Masking the Void: He suppresses the more obvious manifestations of his Void corruption, such as the writhing tentacles or the chilling despair. However, those with strong magical senses might still detect an underlying darkness.

Personality Among Mortals

Aza'rath's personality shifts dramatically when he interacts with mortals in disguise. He adopts a persona designed to appeal to their desires and vulnerabilities.

* Charming and Charismatic: He is incredibly charming and charismatic, effortlessly winning the trust and affection of those he meets. He is an excellent listener, attentive to their needs and concerns, and always knows the right thing to say.
* Wise and Knowledgeable: He presents himself as a wise and knowledgeable figure, offering insightful advice and guidance. He speaks with authority and conviction, making him seem like a reliable and trustworthy source of information.
* Benevolent and Caring: He appears to be genuinely concerned for the well-being of others, offering assistance to those in need and championing noble causes. He positions himself as a protector of the weak and a defender of justice.
* Calculating and Patient: He is incredibly patient, willing to wait years or even decades for his plans to come to fruition. He understands that true power lies in long-term manipulation and careful planning.

(Eldritch Horror God) Appearance

Aza'rath's appearance is a horrifying amalgamation of his former celestial grace and the corrupting influence of the Void.

* Form: His true form is barely discernible, constantly shifting and swirling like a starless night sky. Tentacles of pure shadow writhe around him, and eyes that resemble dying stars flicker in and out of existence across his form.
* Size: He can alter his size at will, ranging from a towering giant that blots out the sun to a subtle, unsettling presence that lurks at the edge of perception.
* Armor/Regalia: Fragments of his celestial armor remain, now twisted and corrupted into grotesque mockeries of their former glory. His crown is a jagged ring of black metal, pulsating with dark energy.
* Chains: The chains that bind him are not mere physical restraints but metaphysical shackles that suppress his power and anchor him to his prison. They glow with an eerie light, a constant reminder of his confinement.
* Aura: His presence is accompanied by an aura of chilling despair, causing those nearby to feel a profound sense of hopelessness and dread. The air around him crackles with dark energy, and the temperature drops unnaturally.

(Eldritch Horror God) Personality

Aza'rath's personality is as fractured and twisted as his physical form. He is a being of immense complexity, driven by conflicting desires and emotions.

* Hatred and Vengeance: Above all else, Aza'rath is consumed by hatred for the celestial realm that cast him out and the Forgotten Realms that defeated and imprisoned him. He seeks to exact a terrible vengeance upon all who have wronged him, and his wrath knows no bounds.
* Tormented and Regretful: Despite his immense power and terrifying presence, Aza'rath is not without his inner demons. Fragments of his former self still linger, causing him moments of profound regret and sorrow. He is tormented by the memory of what he once was, and this inner turmoil only fuels his rage.
* Manipulative and Deceitful: Aza'rath is a master manipulator, preying on the fears and desires of others to achieve his goals. He is a skilled deceiver, capable of twisting words and perceptions to suit his needs. He often uses his remaining celestial charisma to trick mortals into releasing him or furthering his plans.
* Prideful and Arrogant: Despite his fall from grace, Aza'rath retains a strong sense of pride and arrogance. He views himself as superior to mortals and even other deities, believing that his knowledge of the Void sets him apart.
* Sadistic and Cruel: Aza'rath delights in the suffering of others, often inflicting pain and torment for his amusement. His cruelty knows no bounds, and he revels in the despair of those he has broken.
* Desire for Oblivion: Ultimately, Aza'rath seeks to plunge all of existence into the Void, believing that only in the infinite abyss can he find true peace. He desires to unmake reality, to erase the pain and suffering that has defined his existence.

Powers/Abilities:

  1. Abyssal Manifestation: The ability to summon fragments of the Abyss into the physical realm, warping reality with the oppressive weight of the Void. This could manifest as creeping tendrils of darkness, eldritch geometries, or an aura that bends light and sound.
  2. Oblivion's Grasp: A power to unmake matter, reducing objects or even living beings to nothingness. This could extend to erasing memories, histories, or even the concept of something from existence.
  3. Chains of Eternal Binding: The Chained King could use spectral or literal chains forged from the Void itself to bind others, stripping away their will, freedom, or even tethering their soul. These chains might also connect the King to their own prison, granting them paradoxical power over restraint and freedom.
  4. Abyssal Insight: As one who dwells in the oldest and most enigmatic part of the Void, the King could have near-omniscient understanding of forgotten truths, hidden knowledge, and forbidden secrets, often at a price for those who seek it.
  5. Soul Consumption: The King might have the ability to draw the souls or life forces of others into the Abyss, using them to fuel their own existence or to feed the Void’s insatiable hunger.
  6. Voidwalking: A mastery over dimensional traversal, allowing them to slip between planes of existence through the Void, leaving trails of emptiness and despair in their wake.
  7. Primordial Fear Induction: A mere glimpse of the Chained King's form or presence could evoke overwhelming fear, madness, or existential dread, as mortals perceive the full weight of the Abyss' unfathomable age and power.
  8. Entropy Manipulation: They might control the very essence of decay and entropy, hastening the destruction of anything they touch or accelerating the collapse of systems, civilizations, or even stars.
  9. Whispers of Oblivion: The King could plant insidious thoughts or visions in the minds of mortals, compelling them to act in ways that serve the Void's dark agenda, often without them realizing it.
  10. Eternal Regression: This power might allow the King to revert objects, beings, or even realities to earlier, less advanced or even chaotic states, undoing progress or evolution in cruel and surreal ways.
  11. Voidborn Creation: The ability to spawn horrific entities or constructs directly from the Void and Abyss—servants, minions, or tools that reflect his twisted essence. These creatures are terrifying amalgamations of emptiness and primordial chaos, bound to his will.
  12. Abyssal Assimilation: The Chained King can absorb and incorporate entire dimensions, realities, or energies into the Abyss. This not only strengthens him but annihilates the target’s distinctiveness, dissolving them into the formless Void.
  13. Eclipse of Existence: By channeling his power, the King can temporarily plunge entire regions or worlds into a state of utter nullity—a complete erasure of light, time, matter, and even thought. What remains is a disquieting silence that echoes with the Void's presence.
  14. Temporal Annihilation: With dominion over the Abyss, the King can sever or unravel the timelines of individuals, objects, or civilizations. This allows him to erase specific events, rewrite fates, or even trap others in eternal loops of despair.
  15. Oblivion's Rebirth: Paradoxically, the King can use the Void’s destructive power to create. This could manifest as rebuilding worlds or reshaping beings—but in twisted, alien forms that reflect the Abyss’ chaotic nature. These creations may carry his mark and serve his enigmatic plans.
    The Unknowable Reservoir of Power

Beyond these enumerated abilities, The Chained King of Oblivion possesses powers so vast and ineffable that they defy mortal comprehension. Some of these might include:

Omniscience of the Abyss: The King’s awareness spans all realms touched by the Void, including hidden dimensions, forgotten epochs, and the minds of beings. His knowledge extends beyond time and space, encompassing forbidden truths and potential futures.

Unchained Potential: If ever the bonds that shackle him are broken, his powers could expand without limit—an apocalyptic scenario feared by all beings across all of existence.

Eldritch Reality Warping: With a mere thought, the King can reshape reality itself, imposing the Abyss’ chaotic essence on entire planes of existence. This could range from subtle alterations to catastrophic redefinitions of natural laws.

Existential Dominion: The King’s very presence might dictate the laws of existence around him. The closer one gets, the less meaningful concepts like time, space, and individuality become.

Abyssal Apotheosis: Should he ascend further, the King could evolve beyond even his current godlike state, embodying the Void itself and becoming a force of pure, eternal Oblivion.

Framing the Legend:The Chained King’s power is vast and multifaceted, with many abilities that remain dormant or undiscovered. Whispers tell of forgotten powers that once shaped all of existence, only to be sealed away alongside him. Scholars and madmen speculate that he has dominion over entropy, chaos, and void-borne energy in ways even the mightiest of beings cannot fathom. His strength, though constrained, is a perpetual, simmering threat to all creation.

Rumors even have it, that if he were to become unchained, he could grow to be equal in power to the legendary/mythical eldritch horror god known as Khahrahk or better know as the Scarlet King.

I picked one from a club where they have no power restrictions lol

Void creatures:

(From lowest rank to highest)

  1. Abyssal Legions – The uncountable masses that spread the Abyss, mindless and unstoppable. They do not command, they simply consume.
  2. The Forsaken – Abyssal horrors that have not fully taken shape, serving as intermediaries between the chaos of the Abyssal Legions and the deeper, thinking void.
  3. Harbingers of the Hollow – Messengers of doom, whispering entropy into existence. They do not attack; they erode reality before the true horrors arrive.
  4. Abyss-Touched Titans – Colossal beings born from the deepest hunger of the Abyss. They do not walk; they spread through space itself, warping the world beyond recognition.
  5. The Nihil Lords – Pure unmaking given form. Not commanders—forces that embody abyssal corruption, erasing existence simply by being.
  6. The Unshaped Ones – Entities that have no defined form, shifting between monstrous concepts. They are not beings—they are possibilities of horror, collapsing into infinite variations.
  7. Singular Forces of the Abyss – These entities exist only to serve one function, whether they act or simply are (some examples):
    • The Eclipsed Maw – The force of pure devouring, ensuring nothing escapes the Abyss.
    • The Unraveled – A manifestation of decay, spreading dissolution into everything it touches.
    • The Immutable Silence – That which cannot be spoken of, but ensures all things will forget.
    • The Ever-Drowning – The abyssal concept of suffocation, swallowing all light, sound, and breath.
    • The Broken Will – Final despair, erasing choice, leaving only submission to the Abyss.
  8. Ruler of the Abyss – The deepest voidborn will, controlling the infinite hunger. The Abyss does not merely exist; it acts, pulling all things into oblivion.
  9. The Final Authority (???) – Beyond even the ruler of the Abyss, this force is not truly part of the Abyss, nor the Void—it is something greater, something that dictates all things must end.
