Name your two all time favorite recording artists.  This can include bands, soloists; any type of genre from any time period.

Hum, thats a tough one. I supposed I'd go with Pink Floyd and Beck. I may come back and change my answer (:

Just two choices??? That's cruel.

Right now I'll say The White Stripes & The Beastie Boys. Later, I'll probably feel differently.Undecided

The sex pistols and Radiohead. Though tomorrow i may change my mind, BUT the Sex pistols will still be there. :)

That's a tough one. I'd have to say (for the moment since my tastes change on a regular basis) Led Zepplin and John Lee Hooker

first let me say I'm 51 years old.  That may explain why I say Beatles and Supremes.
Lord-Svenstikov
My Chemical Romance and Mika (yes I know, it is quite diverse).
syrianchessmaster
Frank Sinatra and Emery (high quality scream- ish music)
Etienne
King Crimson nd Frank Zappa, naming only two...

That's hard, but I'd have to go with 3 Doors Down and Lifehouse.  I'll probably change my mind later, but I'll go with them for now.

i'll just go with what i've listened to the most recently: saul williams and cody chesnutt

Sibelius, for one.

Then, whatever artist I'm currently listening to. Vague, I know but it's true. I'm listening to that artist for a reason; at that time he\she\it is\are the best for whatever situation or mood I'm in. Right now, it's The Band, doing "The Weight" from "Music from the Big Pink."

Put the load right on me...

Knatted. In the British music press best of polls, ' the bends ' and ' ok computer ' are constantly cited as the best albums of all time.

In my opinion Paul Simon is one of the greatest talents in the music field over the past half century.  the number of classic songs he has written is staggering.  A few months ago I started listening to the real early S & G stuff...real good stuff.

I'm a huge fan of Neil Young.  I really respect him for taking part in so many genres...country, rock, tech,  a little R  & B...you name it, he's probably tried it.  One of the members of Crosby, Stills and Nash once said : "Neil has done better than us because he works so much harder.  He has left us in the dust."
