John Lee Hooker had an awesome cameo in Blues Brothers (the original) where he's on the street with his band playing "Baby Talk."  Great Song... "ah, Boom Boom Boom Boom.... Hey! Hey!"

Everyone on youtube calls it "boom boom" but I'm 90% sure it's called Baby Talk....

I think we all missed The Jimi Hendrix Experience.  I like "Cross Town Traffic" but they are all amazing.

Then of course there is Hanson...  I love Herbie Hancock but if we're adding Jazz artists to this list I feel we should start over...  Just joking of course....

Don Henley would be my second choice as I think he is the greatest singer Rock will ever know...

This is the best video of the song that isn't an eagles version....  Interesting note about this song it was a hit song with Two! guitar solos...  I'm not sure there have been any other songs with two solos that were that big... Maybe in late 60's.  One of the solos was played by Joe Walsh on the recording....

Also worthy of note is Bruce Hornsby...  "Mandolin Rain" is a truly beautiful song that is not to be ignored.

Last but certainly not least is Helmet...  This band started all of the hardcore stuff that we heard in the late nineties...

This is Unsung their only real hit

This is my favorite..."See You Dead"

I like "Unsung", and also "Hey Joe".  Did you mean "Mmm Bop"?

TheAOD

Yeah I was joking...

Vance917

But while I like Helmet, I never loved them.  Just OK, IMHO.

TheAOD

I agree I didn't love them when I was a kid...  However,  I think that the new record Size Matters is unbelievable.  It's just out of this world awesome.  I would have never expected it...

Yes, that was an oversight.  I love "One Moment in Time".
