My friend defeated mittens

So, apparently my friend defeated mittens on 3 star difficulty and he does'nt remember doing so.

This is most certainly a glitch but since we're both 600 rated players but I still need to be certain, plus it makes me happy to see that creature being defeated.

Any thoughts?
