My Gender

TBH I think it means to have two different genders. The significance is they can do different things.

What things can't you already do that you wish to do?

Be who I am, people tell me I can’t be this. One example is my dad. Other than that, that’s it. I can’t think of anything else.

You need to dig deeper into the meaning of it all. Is the problem your gender, or is the problem that gender norms exist that close you into a box? Why can't men act feminine, paint their nails, wear dresses, etc? What exactly does it mean to change genders then? Would you rather close yourself into a different box, or do you want to dismantle the box altogether?

I see where your going. I know you mean no harm but that hurt. I will tell you though I would rather be in this box. I feel like me in this one, no I'm not hiding in my shell because I'm afraid of being male.

Which part hurt? I merely make the argument that the boxes are arbitrary and have 0 meaning. If you already act how you want to act, then why change anything, what difference does it make? Do not equate criticism with a lack of respect, and try to avoid your feelings getting hurt. I respect you as a person, I respect your feelings and frustration on this topic. I do not respect the boxes themselves.

The a male could be famine. Ok,  I also respect what you say, I just get immediate sadness or anger depending on the situation. I am not angry right now just sad right now with that comment. I know you meant no harm though. 

It's sad that you have to come to an anonymous chess site to discuss something so critical to your life.  Hope there are other options for you as you will definitely need a support system to help you through that we here can't provide.

Honestly, gender doesn't matter. Just live yourself as who you feel you are, not by who people define you as. If you identify as female, then it's your choice. Also, perhaps seek some help, as this isn't the best place to look for it, but good luck in finding your way in life!
