And now I can't help thinking of a Dick Van Dyke episode (way back when).

That was the best episode... Rob was hilarious... Just a great show in general

Incidentally, producer Sheldon Leonard actually got up and walked out early on in the fashioning of that episode (he just didn't think it was funny).  The rest of them discussed it and decided to carry on.  Next week Sheldon apologized to all of them.  (Even a guy with a track record like that can be out to sea with this stuff.)

He produced the Andy Griffith show too as well as Gomer Pyle USMC

At last, they've made a musical out of Karl Marx:  Aye, Kapital!

That was some good satire...

Is that what the guy's saying for his Big Opera Moment:  "Laugh, clown..."?

It's like the lyrics to "Volare"...

"flying...whoa whoa...singing...whoa whoa whoa whoa..."

And it is always possible to make one more step in the descent to hell.

Yeah. It's about a performer whose profession is a clown, and right before he's supposed to preform he learns his wife has been cheating on him, but even though his heart is broken he has to smile and put on a show.

You can't watch it?!
