I was in public schools, not Catholic, but I had a junior high math teacher who was renowned for her use of rulers. Funny how we tended to pay more attention in her classes...
Oh, one more question for the students - Are you required to take notes in class these days? (I guess you'd just type them into your laptop instead of having to use pencil and paper like us old dinosaurs.) Or do you just download the teacher's lecture material?

Home schooled, I assume? I've heard that that's often better academically, but then you ten to miss out on the social stuff.
I rode a bicycle to elementary school and never once got run over by a car! (I guess schools don't even have bike racks any more.)
Cell phones are good to have in school......as a result of school shootings.
